NSPS YSN President
Jon Geffre, P.L.S.
Jon Geffre earned an Associate’s Degree in Land Surveying and Civil Engineering Technology from North Dakota State College of Science in 2013, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University in 2017. Since then, Jon has worked at Banner Associates, where he began his career as a Survey Technician and is currently a Licensed Land Surveyor in South Dakota and North Dakota. Jon has demonstrated a strong commitment to the surveying profession, serving as Vice President of the South Dakota Big Sioux Chapter from 2018-2024 and representing the state as Young Surveyor Representative since 2022. A key milestone in Jon’s leadership role was founding the South Dakota Young Surveyors Chapter in 2023, where he currently serves as President. Specializing in high-accuracy construction staking and survey QA/QC for large scale projects, Jon has developed exceptional communication and leadership skills. He has seven years of experience in UAS technology and presented on its applications in surveying four times in 2024. Additionally, Jon is passionate about mentoring future surveyors, regularly collaborating with SDSU and STI students on presentations and community projects. Jon has a deep commitment to advancing the surveying profession and a proven record of leadership and innovation.
NSPS YSN Vice President
Luke Woodyard
Luke Woodyard has been a driving force for young surveyors in Kentucky since 2021, serving as the State Coordinator for the Kentucky Young Surveyors Network. His leadership has helped strengthen engagement, mentorship, and professional development opportunities across the Commonwealth.
Luke also serves on the Board of the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors, where he continues to advocate for the profession and support member growth.
With degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and Physics from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Luke brings a strong technical foundation to his work. He is currently a Survey Manager at QK4, overseeing the Statewide Survey Contract for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and leading survey operations for the Bridge Program—supporting more than 50 bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects across Kentucky.
Luke is committed to representing the surveying community with integrity, fostering collaboration, and helping build a strong, sustainable future for the profession.
NSPS YSN Secretary
Stacey R. Pollock, S.I.T.
Stacey R. Pollock, Surveyor-In-Training currently resides in Southeast Michigan, where she holds the position of the State Coordinator for Young Surveyors Network of Michigan. In 2025 she was awarded the “Young Member Award” for her continued dedication and leadership in the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors.
Stacey received her undergraduate at the University of Houston, and an Associates of Applied Science in Land Surveying and Mapping at Lonestar College in Montgomery, Texas. She is passionate about the surveying profession and participates in outreach as much as she can!
Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys long walks, reading, and spending time with her family.
NSPS YSN Delegate
Cameron Lowe, R.P.L.S.
Cam is a Registered Professional Land surveyor in the Houston area where he was born and raised. Cam began his career in the surveying industry at LJA Surveying, Inc. in 2014 after graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler with a degree in Industrial Technology – Surveying and Mapping. Cam has been very active within the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) at the local and state level. He is currently serving as the Director for Texas Young Surveyors, the TSPS Chapter 9 President, and Board Director at the State level. He was awarded the “Young Surveyor of the Year” for 2021 by his peers within TSPS. He is a 2nd generation land surveyor who has a passion for this industry and wants to continue to get more young people involved and introduced to the profession. Cam is also a volunteer firefighter for the Pasadena Fire Department.
